Now put it all together and what do you get? Ding Dong, Hot Dog

Here is my father and Hannah Fitzpatrick.
This is a photograph of him challenging her to a hot dog eating contest... which they did have at our last church dinner.
Dad's got mad skill, but Hannah's was impressive for her weight class.

Joke Time Fellas

It's joke time kids.
Send me your latest joke as a "comment" (anyone can list a comment; just set it to anonymous).
You will be disqualified from any prises if your joke includes any of the following: crude joking, blonds, walking into a bar, nuns, any references to terrorism or the like, watermelons, telephones, teletubies, Martha Stewart, or Bush.

Chuck Norris jokes are allowed.

Momma jokes are allowed.

Chickens are allowed.

Chicken mothers are allowed.
Orphaned chickens, whom don't know their mother are also welcome.
Very forgetful chickens whom can't remember their brother, none the less, their mother, may be questioned, but ultimately will be allowed.
Roosters, all gaming birds, seagulls, and peasants will be allowed, but , to be frank, will probably not be the best choice for your joke.

Grand prize: A life-size portrait of me.
2nd place prize: A life-size portrait of your mother, eating a chicken.

This past week I downloaded the CROUP.
Then the doc said I was barking like a seal.
Not Quite.

Now Mom has "come and junk the iris".
I think she might be faking since I was getting all of the attention.

Campaign Backdrop Possibility

Perhaps this is campaign worthy. It might be a nice intro for a commercial.
A little fine tuning.....

The Temper has Budded.

I heard my mom say that my sin nature bloomed this week and that she must be allergic.
Dad's been lecturing me on the depravity of man and reading me a "children's book" titled "Little Jimmy Never was Innocent."

All that Glitters

Today I say goodbye to my beloved heater valve cover.

I say goodbye to my brown ceiling fan.

I have moved on, but I will not forget you.
In time, I may find another valve.
It's true.
I may find a new ceiling fan.
But you guys were the first valve covers and fans to reach out to me.
I won't forget your kindness.
You've been like a sibling to me and for that, I will always be grateful.
