It sure pays

It sure pays to work in a wealthy area.

Well, okay, just on trash day.

Last week Mom snagged a stroller that was placed out by the side of the road for people like her that like the word "free".

Mom didn't just snag ANY stroller. This stroller happened to be a dusty Italian made Peg Perego stroller. Now, most of us are far from knowing anything about the economic levels of strollers (and we're fine that way) but it is one of those areas in life that a name like Peg Perego gets you the stroller of your dreams. It's the stroller that you mocked in Target as you glanced at the price tag of $500 .

Dust and a few years of age to break it in, Mom and I just hosed it down in the shower and now it's taking a leisurely dry on the porch. A bit of WD40 and we'll be set!

So take heart trash pickers and back off trash-picker scoffers. What's the best thing you ever snagged?
