Moving In
Yo folks! In less than a month, Nick and Aimee Otto will be moving into this apartment with us. We're splitting the apartment down the middle (yep, it's big enough to do that). My parents know them better than I do, but I am hopeful at the prospect. For instance, I will now have four human beings to climb like a tree. Also, Nick is a counseling grad so dad signed me up for Monday sessions after my nap. Dad's hopeful at that prospect.
We've been cleaning the place like crazy. Today Mom helped me wash down the siding on the porch, hang towel racks in the bathroom, re-arrange the linens, and a few other random things that is even boring to type, much less read about.
This afternoon I am taking her on a nice picnic outing after her nap. The weather is basically dream like today.
So yep, I wanted to post a picture of Nick and Aimee but the only one I had of them is above. They are in the fourth row; Nick is wearing a Michigan hat.
Have a good one!

Before the parents
Aunt Mindy mailed us a pack of goodies and I got the best of all: a cell phone. It even had a recording of her voice saying hi! That makes me the first in my family to own a cell phone. It's not quite like being the first to go to college, or the first to be the president of key club, but I'll take it.
The top video is me exploring it (grandparents may want to notice that I say "telephone") and the bottom video is me saying no when the voice asks me if I want to go and play with them. I was busy.

Sunday School Hour
So what's there to do with a toddler and a 25-year-old momma for an hour and a half on Sunday morning before the Church service when Pops is teaching Sunday School and I have an itch to do anything but "chill"? ( For those of you whom haven't had the pleasure of spending much time with me, I certainly do not chill.)
Mom and I usually roam the city of Everett and since it's getting warmer, we now can branch out from the usual Burger King Play Palace to grander things like parks.... and apparently graveyards. Mom had the desire to roam and I quite literally had no choice but to follow. We did find some neat pics though. Next time I'll drive.
Pre-graveyard, I did get to shoot some hoops at the jungle-themed playground. Approximately 10 more feet of air to go before I make the shots. I'll be Pres before I can shoot baskets. . . I bet Obama can't say that one.

Taken today
In true Simeon fashion, I threw the eggs (and the candy inside).
Look at the video below and you can see what a difference a year can make!
Best Day of the Year
Today we celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, our King. Praise God the Trinity for His provision of sacrifice and grace.

Beastly
The Vacuum peeked it's ugly head today.
I chucked balls, blocks, and basically anything I could find lying around at the beast's heart while mom guided it through our house.
To no avail.
When we put it back into it's hole, it growled as I shut the door and I said in my head "Sianara Sucker!"
p.s.- I finally made the connection today that if I pee in the little white "potty", then I get an M&M. Dad gave me (like) half the bag today. Tomorrow I'm drinking water like crazy. I'll pee on the beast if I get the chance.

Lydia, Sweet Second Cousin of Mine
So...... what relation to me is my Dad's cousin's baby? Well here she is! Sister to the lovely Eliza, Lydia Page Speakman was born this past Thursday, weighing in at 48 lbs, 3.876499921 ounces. She's a healthy 67 inches long. Miraculously, Holly was able to deliver her while reading "War and Peace" and cooking a three-course meal with her toes. She is a super mom! Way to go Holly!
Welcome Lydia! I'm looking forward to seeing you!
And to Holly: mom and dad are cheering you on! Good job and Congradulations!
Love,
Simeon
