So mom fell asleep last night.
About 20 or so minutes after she fell asleep, she woke up because her mouth was dry.
She reached for the cup of water and took a gentle swig.
BUT (and here's the kicker) she fell asleep again before she put her cup of water back on her nightstand.
And there she slept, (for about 10 minutes), with a cup of water balanced on covers and such until WHAM! it fell over and instantaneously soaked both of my parent's shirts, sheets, and under-roos.
Dad jumped from the bed yelling "What the heck was that!"
and there it is. A funny story. True too.
